You are an amazing person to know how to do all of that, and to find a way to get it all done. I grew up on a farm and most people we know did lots of canning and freezing. I know we had some canned food in the basement from many years ago. My mom didn't do any canning I can remember. She was always very busy doing everything else, making meals, doing laundry, milking 25 cows two times a day, and handling all the paperwork. But somehow she managed to get it all done. I always wanted to learn how to can food. One of the fun things I got to do as a kid was to pick tomatoes from a field for a local farmer. There were families who came from mexico and local kids like me. I always had to work on our farm, but when I went to pick tomatoes, I got paid, and got to keep the money. But when things were busier on our farm, I had to work at home and could no longer go to the tomato fields.
