Wow, snow already. Aside from my week in NH each Fall, I no longer have a good perception for the time of year by season. We have lost the humidity here, but other then that we really have perpetual summer. Trying not to sound as if I am gloating.. That is just how it is. It does have it's disadvantages. My concept of time has changed. Christmas sneaks up on me due to having no feeling for Fall. Nothing really defines spring. I miss those days in NH after a hard winter when you have an afternoon that makes you need get in the car and roll the windows down turn the radio up......Or open all the windows in the house and just envelope your self in the feeling of fresh. That first day that you realize there will be an end to the winter. You can go outside in just your shirt sleeves and leave your coat behind. Maybe catch sight of the first crocus poking through the crusty snow . Spring is more then just a rumor....
We dont get to have that feeling here in Fla. Or the first snow...... when the blanket of fresh clean white covers the world and glistens and takes away the gray untill the plows go through and turns it all dirty on the edges.
