Thank you, Susan. I never win anything either. So..when I received the email from them I was like..."Who Dat?" What a pleasant surprise for me. Can't wait to read the book.

The storm is getting stronger and is predicted to be a Cat.1 when it makes landfall. We are already having very strong wind gusts and blowing rains.

My neighbor just called me to ask if I am staying or leaving. I told her I will be staying. I think she just wanted confirmation that someone knew she was home...and alone. She's such a sweet lady. Her husband passed away several years ago. He had been in a nursing home for 15 years and she visited him everyday that he was there. I think she is afraid. I didn't want to let her in on a secret...I'm afraid too!
