In saying that the geological record supports Paulsen's story, I was merely referring to the fact, that can be found in pretty much any geollogy book on the subject of the last ice age, that geologists are at a loss to explain the sudden ending of the ice age in the Southern Hemisphere, and then a similar event in the Northern Hemisphere about 500 years later. Paulsen's explanation as to why those continents sunk, and the time frame he gives to it, agree in the sense of offering a plausible explanation consistent with the results that geologists have found.
In the Bible, in the description of Noah's flood, in at least two places, in the original Hebrew, also presents a senario consistent with what Paulsen is saying was the actual agent of the sinking fo the two.
There are many people, as well, that are researching many other archeological and geological discoveries that also point to the existence of a civilization in each ocean that is now under water.
