In fact NASA have been searching for extra-terrestrial intelligence for several years now, using good scientific methods, but so far they have not found any conclusive evidence.

In any event, the possibility of extra-terrestrial life does not in any way support Paulsen's claims.

Sunburst was meant to be a base station for "The Builders", Paulsen's extra-terrestrial Master Race. How many people at Sunburst ever encountered these aliens and their spacecraft?

Since you admit you have never encountered these aliens yourself, how do you know that Paulsen's claims are true, other than your reading of Paulsen's character?
