No-one here is saying that the allegations were true, just that such allegations existed.

The "other sources" which I referred to are some correspondence which I am not at liberty to disclose, some diplomatic documents from the period, and some newspaper reports from the time.

I think you have acknowledged in your post that such allegations did exist.

Thanks for the link to the Edgar Cayce webpage. I had not seen that before.
