I agree. When I practiced Kriya with SRF it mostly took me at least 50 pranayama or so just to attain a mere minor interiorisation of consciousness. It may be completely different in the case of people who have practiced for many years, can't say.

After a while I saw that Kriya lost all effect altogether, to my surprise, and there was no difference between practice of 10 or 100 pranayams or more or none at all.

Anyway it seems to be a very relative matter.
