( forgive my poor english )

No. Conciousness uses the physical body making experiences possible.
If conciousness cant find a brain in normal conditions, no experiences are possible in the body.

If there is some kind of experience(in astral body for example) the brain in anesthesia probably cant record the experience( sometimes in dreams or meditation astral experiences are recorded in the brain). After the anesthesia effect, consciousness finds a normal brain and physical experiences are possible again. There isnt any experience of that period recorded in the brain, so the ego called Mike thinks now he was unconcious all that time because there isnt nothing recorded in his memory brain cells. Nothing happened to the ever present consciousness.

Anyway absence of experience doesnt mean absence of conciousness. In the state of pure conciousness there isnt any experience, not event time perception is experienced.
