It's a strange passage. It seems to imply that Jesus has a flesh and blood body, but at the same time there is a footnote quoting from "Autobiography of a Yogi" saying that Christ no longer has a physical body.

I certainly don't think it is meaning to imply that Christ and Babaji are the same being, except in the very metaphysical sense that all are one. Yogananda associated Babaji with Krishna rather than Christ.

It could be that the answer lies with Norman Paulsen's "memories". According to "Mad Norm", Jesus is now incarnated as an alien who Paulsen met while on a trip to the moons of Jupiter. Perhaps this alien parks his spaceship in the Himalayas with Babaji when he is visiting this planet.
