I tend to think regarding the Eight Fold Path of Patanjali that those who seek to trod it's strenous path seek to move quickly through the first two limbs seeking to swiftly arrive at the eighth. Yet I've personally found that the first two limbs are the most difficult, the hardest to completely master; yet, without that accomplishment, that stable foundation, true yogic accomplishment is impossible as one is not able to let go of those personal negativities which hold him hidebound.
