I assume that this is a criticism of all Kriya Yoga "organizations". Fair enough, Shibendhu is entitled to his opinions on this issue and this view is founded in some "Kriya Yoga" historical traditions. However, I disagree with him that enlightenment cannot come to those who view themself as a "member" of a Kriya Yoga group. I must point out that even a small group is still a group with a wide range of group dynamics being manifest. Groups of people have an inherant tendency to the formation of hierarchical attitudes amongst its "participants". And in fact by his only words Shibendu defines his relationship to the Kriya Yoga community in a hierarchical manner. I wish that his "Christmas Message" ended in a more positive note. Personally, I take a more positive view of all sincere seekers of Divine Realization. May the real Christmas message of this time of year be an inspiration to us all to achieve as Shibendu says "divine perception".
