Perhaps this unnamed poster should ask his "very good friend and highly advanced kriya disciple who is living in the US" what he really thinks of Paulsen's claims. I'm sure we would all be very interested.
So Paulsen has discovered some important "extra step" for safe practice of Kriya. Something which Yogananda was apparently unaware of.
It's strange that none of the great Kriya masters knew anything of this "descending masculine force". No doubt Paulsen knows better than all the masters of yore. Strange also that Yogananda stated clearly when he was living that his teachings had been given to the world through his writings, and that anyone claiming to receive any new teachings from him would be false. Strange also that Yogananda would choose to reveal this improved kriya technique through a minor disciple who left his ashrams to become an alcoholic, rather than one of his senior disciples who might be taken seriously. Strange also how Kirpal Singh has had a 180 degree change of mind since his passing and now supports Paulsen's teaching of things which contradict what he said whilst he was living.
But then lots of things about Paulsen are strange. Such as his memories of the destruction of Mu and Atlantis which do not receive any support from the geological evidence. Or his claims to have been chosen as the main contact point for some highly advanced extraterrestrials who should be quite capable of contacting the worlds leaders without Paulsen's help.
What is even more strange is that no only do some people believe Paulsen's claims, but they come here to try to persuade the rest of us of Paulsen's greatness.
As for the "mystical marriage" of kriya yoga. For those who practice kechari mudra the sexual symbolism of the tongue in the nasal cavity is quite clear. Also the in breath (female) is united with the out breath (male) and the corresponding currents are united in the spine. Most importantly the mind (male) penetrates the Yoni at the point between the eyebrows. This is the real spiritual orgasm, the spiritual marriage which produces the Christ Child, i.e. the realisation of Christ consciousness.
"So many devoted and deeply developed kriyabans have already made it clear that the state of Kriya these days is not good."
Pehaps, but it is unlikely to improve when even the most obvious of frauds such as Norman Paulsen are treated with such undeserved respect.
