You are one person posting anonymously on the internet. I prefer to believe the descriptions given to me in person by people where I am able to asses their body language and judge whether or not they are being truthful. I know nothing of you and do not know whether or not your claims are likely to be true.
I do not wish to spread misinformation, and everyone can note your claims that Govindan does not teach these visualisations. However that is not the point. The point is simply that what is being taught by Govindan's organisation is not the Kriya Yoga written of by Yogananda and others. Therefore if anyone is looking to learn Kriya (e.g. after reading Autobiography of a Yogi) they should avoid Govindans organisation. That appeared to be the situation in the post from "Seeker" which started this thread.
As for your claims to be writing from experience, this is simply untrue. There is no "experience" which would show that the system being taught by Govindan comes from Babaji, unless you are claiming that Babaji has appeared to you and told you so. The followers of every religion, and every spiritual practice probably include a fair number of people who claim to have had various spiritual experiences. This means very little.
You claim that my opinion (which is only my opinion, nothing more) that Govindans "Kriya" has nothing to do with Babaji is based on "second-hand wrong information". In fact it is based on the descriptions of Babaji given to us by genuine Kriya Yogi's such as Yogananada. Do you regard Yogananda's writings about Babaji as being "second-hand wrong information"? The impressions of Babaji we are left with are of a very secretive and elusive character, not someone who would provide a biography for Ramiah to put on the internet.
Your opinions are based on your belief in the claims of Govindan and Ramiah. Nothing else, no experiences or similar, just blind belief in others claims. You have no way of knowing whether or not the things they are teaching come from Babaji. My opinions are just as valid as yours in this area.
Here is another site describing someone who some people believe to be Babaji.
That person lived, aged and died. He displayed no signs of being the great Babaji the Guru of Lahiri Mahasaya. A quick search of the internet would probably reveal several more "Babaji's", none of who displays the characteristics of the "real" Babaji. It may well be that some people meet these characters and genuinely believe they have met Babaji the guru of Lahiri Mahasaya. Perhaps Ramiah met one of them and genuinely believes he met Babaji.
If you wish to believe all these Babaji's and disciples of Babaji are genuine that is up to you. I do not believe in them, and I doubt if most people here believe in them. Either way it is our belief, nothing else. Do not try pretending that you have special knowledge or experience which proves that a certain person is a genuine disciple of Babaji.
