"Seeing union" with the intellect? - It is the very nature of the intellect to discern, differentiate, discriminate. The greatest philosphers - usually people who had a very developed intellect - used to create always new heaps of mental theories and analysis. What has this to do with "seeing union"? How is it possible to have unitive experience by intellectual means, I ask you?!
