Tell me, anonymous friend, in your opinion would it be acceptable for someone to post that e.g. Hariharananda was not a direct disciple of Sri Yukteswar? What if that person wrote that Hariharananda was giving initiation without fulfilling the preliminary requirements demanded by Yogananda? Would this be showing respect for the path of other people?
The reason such posts are allowed, even encouraged here is that this board is intended as a place where we can get at the facts. It is not somewhere that frauds can hide behind the "respect for all" smokescreen.
Every day new people are attracted to the path of Kriya Yoga, perhaps through reading "Autobiography of a Yogi" or another popular book. Some of them will search through the internet looking for a place to learn Kriya. Not everything they find will be valid. They may find a Canadian organisation teaching "Babaji Kriya Yoga", or a German fake with his Cyber Ashram, or many other frauds. If they find this board, and look through the archives hopefully they will find them helpful in deciding which paths to investigate and which to avoid.
All paths are NOT equal. All path are NOT deserving of equal respect. Some are complete frauds. Others, while not being frauds may still not be competant to lead others on the path.
Norman Paulsen is your brother disciple, and he is not disrespectful to his/your Guru or to SRF.
Is it respectful to your Guru to distort his Kriya Yoga teachings, and claim that this distortion is an improvement over your Guru's teachings? Is it respectful to sell those techniques in a video and book to anyone who will send you a few dollars, contrary to the very clear instructions of your Guru that these things are for initiates only?
In my opinion Paulsen is a fake. He was never a "Lord of Mu". He never went to Jupiter's moons in a UFO with an alien who was Jesus Christ. He never received improvements to Kriya Yoga from Jesus Christ (either as an extraterrestrial or as a spirit). He never picked up any alien hitchhiker on the California highway. He made it all up, and it is amazing that so many people are gullible enough to believe such things.
If people wish to follow Paulsen that is their decision. If people looking for guidance at the beginning of their spiritual journey come here looking for information, at least they will realise that Paulsens claims are believed by only a very small minority of the Kriya community.
