Again, a vow of "poverty" is not a vow merely to renounce acquisitiveness; it is a vow to renunciate wealth. (See my "A Vow of Poverty: what it t'is, what it t'ain't" post, below.)

Thus, while all should lead a balanced life "in the world," those who hold themselves out as renunciates of material wealth probably should not be leading a luxurious life "in the mansion."
