Yes, the full text of the letter is quoted in the book "Paramahansa Yogananda - In Memoriam". It does mention a small spot which may have been desiccation. I don't have the book to hand at the moment. I'll try to look up exactly what was said later. If anyone else has a copy could they quote the exact text?
