Subject: Mickey Mouse watch

I'm in possesion of a Bradley Mickey Mouse watch.

This is I believe is a very rare Mickey Mouse Watch prior to 1970. On the back of the case is stamped the number 196 under the stamps of Base Metal, Swiss Made. This watch is in "good" condition and not working order at this time. The face reads:
at top: Bradley with Mickey's ears to the right side. "Mickey Mouse" from the 9:00 position to the 3:00 position. And below that Swiss Made and below that Walt Disney Productions.

I saw a similar watch for sale on EBAY in excellent condition for $7800.00 !
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2637299209&category=11020

The stem is intact, missing the knob. It is able to wind the hands to the correct time, but doesn't run.

The face has lots of scratches..............is this worth anything at all?

...but, of course, the condition of the watch is important. The older the better. Older watches sell for much more even in non-mint shape. Older would be anything prior to 1950's, but even 70's watches go for a great deal. I would suggest keeping an eye on ebay and watching to see what the final bid prices are.

Hi-
I have a watch I think is just like the watch you are describing. It has never been worn the band is in perfect condition, But the face has a couple of scratches on it. It is a Bradley Swiss made watch. Mickey is facing left with Mickey and Mouse written on either side of his yellow feet, he has red hands, his tail curls right above the five, black numerals, and a red second hand. ( all the other ones I've seen on-line haven't had second hands do it's hard to place) The Back reads BASE METAL
SWISS
-023-

The back of the watch is silver with the word US Time on it and the number 7842. What is the value of this watch?

On the end of the case is the number 6808MS. Got it from my father who reciently passed away. Can you tell me anything about it? Value, how old it might be.
