I just had a look a Anya's 2012 collection that she showed at NY Fashion week and I absolutely love it (with the exception of one outfit). Sadly, based on the materials I saw, I guess Anya did not make the top 3. I only saw Laura's collection and it was obvious that she is a finalist based on the expensive fabric (the top 3 get way more money). Mind you, with the expection of a couple of outfits I was very bored by Laura's designs.

With respect to Anya, I am a bit shocked because up till this week I thought she was the best designer in the group. That being said,Anya is indeed a very smart business woman - I gurantee you her collection will do well in terms of sales especially in Miami. Additionally, I would not mind if we see some of Anya's designs on our MTT reps. With respect to the one brown outfit(short pants, V-neck top that looks almost like a gown) I would really like to see if this same note can be tweaked into a competition gown for a future MT&T.

I have to say that even though I really have not seen a competition gown from Anya, I suspect she can dish out a some fantastic designs that would put several of our past designers to shame. It will be interesting to see if Anya can step up to the plate and join T&T best master gown designer Mr. Bobby Ackberali.
