I don't think she can make any impact internationally at a major beauty pageant. At present only Shinequa seems to be a viable recent candidate. (I don't think Valene will bother with MU - she thoroughly enjoyed her MW experience but she seems very focused on her career and education currently - kudos to her). I have to admit that T&T does have competitive ladies but I wonder if they will screen. BeautySeeker and PageantNoob, you guys seem to know a lot more than I do about the local models. When LaToya was crowned she did a make-up demonstration (I can't recall the foreign make-up artist) with another very tall beautiful black model - does anyone know if that model was Trini because she looked really tall and way more beautiful than LaToya. With respect to Shinequa, I wonder what we are going to see with the screenings for the new pageant year given that Shinequa is Miss Top Model Trinidad and Tobago 2011 and has a 3 year modelling contract. I really hope she is being prepped well for the stage because she will (if the competition is fair) place easily top 3 in SS and gown at MU and MW. Lookswise, Shinequa is the best I have seen on the local pageant circuit since the MUTT1998 pageant since Wendy and the indian girl at the same pageant who won Miss Photogenic. I actually saw a short clip on television before she competed at MU2010. I can't wait to hear when screenings will be announced. Imagine, some countries have already crowned their reps for MU 2012 already.
