...can I assume that the franchise holder and his team already know something we don't...i.e. Valene is planning on entering. I really wish both the MW and MU franchises end up back together under one roof so to speak and that we have a great pageant team with Adrian as the interview facilitator/trainer.

Does anyone know how tall Sarah Radhay is? (she was 3rd at last year's pageant. I already know that Ms. Plymouth from last year's pageant is 5'8" and Ms. Arima looked taller than her at the pageant.

[> Subject: Trini77, I know you are hoping that Valene enters again. You also said that you dont want to see Gabrielle Walcott at Miss Universe. Can I ask why?. I actually think Gabrielle can do quite well if sent. Do you remember Makeda O'neil?. I think she can do well to.

Gabriella Walcott is not what MU is looking for, although I would have preferred her over LaToya anyday (along with Makeda O'neil, Ms. Arima, Ms. Plymouth and Sarah Radhay). Ms. Universe org. looks for a very petite body type with plenty of curves. Gabby to me looks more like the classic eurocentric old world beauty. Gabby was a fantastic MW rep and I think she should not bother with MU. If she does decide to enter though the pageant company needs to get her boobs re-done.

As for Makeda O'Neil I really have not heard anything from her. Did she screen last year or did she decide on not entering any more pageants? Who knows?

Valene in my opinion has the body and the looks to make a good grab for the top 5 provided we Peter Elias does not put her in another less that favorable gown (yes, I was not impressed with LaToya's gown). If Valene is MUT&T2011 I have to be very frank and say Bobby Ackberalli should get to design her gowns. I really love Peter Elias' designs but I have to say that Bobby's work is perfection.

I am just hoping that the pageant team gets it through their head that no one at MUorg gives a rat's butt about how much modeling experience our rep has or how stunning a model is...a model and a beauty queen are two different things. Yes, models can make the transition to beauty queen and the converse is also true, but if you want to get a model then get the franchise for Top Model T&T. We are dealing with beauty pageants when we talk about MU and MW. Let's look for beauty queens who need polishing...not a freakin' model and hope we could put her together to convince everyone she is a beauty queen when she was obviously NOT what MU is looking for.

Again, I will say it, I have no qualms about LaToya's representation- truth be told she gave 100% and did the best that she could at MU. I was acutally surprised that she got so much attention when MU kicked off and based on that I thought O.K. apparently LaToya would do extremely well and at the same time move MU in a different direction because she was certainly not what I would call typical MU material. I think we all learned quite quickly when the top 15 where announced that we need to send the quality of ladies that MU is asking for and not what we think she should be.

I totally agree with you and what's this talk about Peter Elias picking someone already? You are not the franchise holder and Alyssa Ali as beautiful as she may be is a model, not much Beauty Queen material so hope the MUT&T know what they are doing this time....we need a winner not a model who looks like just a pretty face.

...but he is responsible for the styling of the delegates and reps. No rep. has been chosen or hand-picked at all.
