Why are people getting confused with this? Models are NOT beauty queens and La Toya should have shown us that. Why are you suggesting that Soowan Bramble enter? I have spoken to her on many occasion and she is a model in every sense of the word. She wants to be a model and spends her life perfecting her craft. I totally agree with you on Chenelle but she is also a model. We need to pick girls who understand what a MU competition is not girls who choose to look pretty and wear a dress just for showing.

At the end of the day it's a competition and even our MW girl doesn't seem to understand that. It is a competition and the winner must exude grace, poise, beauty, intelligence and the ability to woo the judges, not move a camera. Height is not as important as people make it seem. How tall was Giselle or Penny? How tall was Miss Mexico, take a look at the winners before them height is not very important.

Plus why is Peter Elias still on the board the man doesn't even make his own clothes! Why not let past winners and MU gurus pick the winners. What about Wendy, Giselle, Penny I'm sure they wouldn't mind if they were asked to sit at the judges row for they know how long it has been since T&T got a win in both competitions. Maybe even get an educational perspective so that the girls can be ready for any question. If we want to win, we need to get serious about this. Also a screening gives all the girls a chance to compete to hold such a title as Miss T&T, please tell me it's a rumor that the rep has been "hand-picked" by Mr. Elias, This is crap!!! Everyone deserves a chance; no preference, no favoritism. Earn your chance fair and square. Believe me they learn they appreciate the title more if they earn it.......
