Gabby is the only one I am sure could compete with the best with 2.5 months prep- because that is all the time left because the winner will need at leat 10 to 14 days to get her affairs in order -basically drop everything else she is doing in her life to train full time. PERIOD!
Shaniqua will be wasted if sent to this year's pageant because she cannot be mentally prepped for a top 5 finish. Some who went to the semis say that her lack of confidence showed. Additionally, we don't want a rep. who is distracted by her CXC exams at present. Shaniqua is a diamond that needs polishing and I actually think she is ripe for a top 5 finish at MW next year. She shoud definitely enter next year's MWTT.
Geer Iton, if sent to MU this year, will be one of the most beautiful-HANDS DOWN!!! Even though she is just like a half inch or so shorter than Gabby I am not too sure she could stand out from a crowd. Gabby on the other hand, does seem to always stick out in a good way.
Now BeautySeeker and C, did you guys have a look at the unphotoshopped pics of the ladies at the semis (on the Triniwaves facebook page)? MY THE WONDERS OF PHOTOSHOPPED. Juliana James is fat by pageant standards- she needs to lose at least 10 lbs and tone up if she plans on screening again for another MTT. I am also not sure if she has narrow shoulders but from what I see she would need two small implants also.
Additionally, I would have chosen Jeanette instead of Cherrese for the final 8.
That being said, the bottom 4 in my opinion are Cherrese (not MU material), Crysty St. Rose (the fittest body but certainly not the most beautiful body), La Tisha (inconsistent in photos and I don't see her making any impact internationally) and in 5th place overall the beautiful Jessica Dider (no boobs).
This is where it gets interesting -unquestionably in 4th place in Renee (who I still think is a pretty girl but not really that competitive looking).
The top 3 are in 3rd place Geer Iton, 2nd Shaniqua and 1st Gabby. Any one of these 3 will be able to make a grab for a top 10 prelim spot but I am most confident about Gabby. Shaniqua has the assets to make top 5 at the MU pageant but I don't see her being ready in less than 3 months, especially with the distractions of CXC exams.
Geer is short and Shanequa's novelty to this pageant shows onstage so Renee could realistically crack the top 3. I just hope the judging panel is not as crappy as last year's. NO WAY CAN RENEE DO BETTER THAN GABBY AT MISS UNIVERSE.
