John:

All so true. Today, many of these young men returning from war are as we were so long ago, and now they only want to forget and move on with life. And they are alive and know all too well the names of those who are not. But the war will not forget them, and may linger dormant for decades...but surface it will. And that is when the veteran will seek out friends who "were there" and who are the only ones they can talk with about it. We know this to be true, and can help those returning should an opportunity present itself, just by being there, listening to them, and planting a seed about the brotherhood of veterans.
