Hi Mrs Miller,
I don't know if you got any help yet. But I was there in 1972,and he is correct. Sometimes we would get hit two or three times a day/night. We would get hit at noon. Most of army and marines had pulled out,and the largest ground fighting force in vietnam was the AF security police SQ at Danang, I was with the 554th Red Horse SQ,living in camp swampy,(old marine area). When you hear a 122mm rocket explode near you,you will never forget it. If I can be of any help, Please contact me. John E.Jackson M/sgt. ret.
