I'm so very sorry to hear another Brother is having this kind of problem. You will find that there was alot of men and women came back from the Nam with the same kind of problem. I myself have this it is called PTSD and the Va. finally got off their duffs in the late 1980's and starting to treat the Vets. for this.It is a long up hill battle but the war can be won.The Va.is the only way for him to go. If you are his friend as you say.He will need you to help him with this battle with the Va.You will have to take him to the Va. to get treated.He can get some help with the drugs and drinking. he can get some help also for the PTSD. If you need me for anything you have my email with this post.
