Howdy Jim;

Your best shot to try to find someone who knew PFC Dean Walter Borrousch would be to leave a message in the Guestbook of the 2nd/60th Inf. website at http://www.2nd60th.org/ or send an e-mail to one of the officers of their association. This is because the Coffelt KIA Database says that PFC Borrousch's unit was B Company, 2nd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. However, you should mention the time period. PFC Borrousch's tour of duty in Vietnam started on 11/9/69 and he was KIA on 2/19/70 in Long An Province due to "Hostile, Ground Casualty, Gun, Small-Arms Fire." At that time, only the 3rd Brigade [6th/31st, 2nd/47th (Mech), 2nd/60th , and 5th/60th Inf. Battalions] of the 9th Inf. Div. was left in Vietnam. The 2nd/60th was stationed at Tan Tru which was about 35 Km. south-by-southwest of Saigon in the Mekong River Delta area of Vietnam.
