Subject: movies of VietNam

I'm writing my last paper for an English Degree from Western Washington University. The topic is film texts of VietNam and I am trying posit a thesis about them from a Veterans point of view, yet I am having difficulty finding Vets who are willing to participate. Films I viewed: The Green Berets, Apocalypse Now!, Jacob’s Ladder, Hamburger Hill, We Were Soldiers, The Deer Hunter, Hanoi Hilton, Full Metal Jacket, Heaven and Earth, Born on the 4th of July, Platoon, and Last Year in Viet Nam, (the last four directed by Oliver Stone, a Vet himself).
So I have many questions but appreciate as much or as little information anyone is willing to impart to me. Thank you for your time.
