The explosion resulted in one of the first efforts to assembled steel aircraft revetments in south vietnam. I was one of the members of Prime Beef# 30,a special hand picked air force civil engineering team sent to Bien Hoa,and Tan Son Nhut in february,1966,to assembled these revetments.Commanded by capt.Brown, and the ncoic was T/sgt.Hall. The rocket and ground attacks could not stop the "Dirty 30" from doing an outstanding job at both bases in record time.
