Subject: Forget me Not

Hello. My name is Allison and I am a Junior at Pembroke Academy. As a project for our American Studies English class we have to read and comment on war stories. The poem "Forget Me Not" was very good. I have been to the wall in Washington D.C. and touched the names, but I cannot imagine being shot at. Dying for your country is a noble cause, one which many people did in Vietnam. We will not forget the people who gave so much for us.
