There is nothing wrong in being young and naive. I was 26 years of age just prior to 24 December 1961. On Christmas Eve of 1961, I was to find out that during the next six months, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

During my 8 years in the US Army, I did a tour in Korea, Turkey and Vietnam. I was also very inclined to making the Military a career. Upon returning to the US in July of 1962, I found that many things were changing, but not really improving.

By the time our people who were held for so many years in North Vietnam, I was in hopes that we would be completly ready for their return.

What was then and before then, has not changed very much.

This site, which I review many times during the day, contains many very informitive view points. I thank each and everyone of the people who make contributions and ask questions.
