dying mans cry.

i spent two years in vietnam,but who in this country gives a damn,my legs are crippled,and i,ve lost one arm,trying to take refuge in a sham filled barn,the bombs fell long,the bombs fell fast,i thought this day would be my last.
but then a hand from up above,shielded me from the raggin guns.now i lay in a hospital with schrapnel in my leg dreaming of a country,where a man dont have to beg.
a proud strong free country where moral runs high,
but that is just a dream of
a dying mans cry......
