Your uncle was one of six men KIA that day with A Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 199th Light Infantry Brigade (Americal Division) - and only had two months left before his rotation. You may want to check the Americal or the 199th LIB websites to see if anyone remembers him. Since he had been in-country for 10 months, some of the 3/7 guys might have some old pictures of him.
