Howdy Joyce;

Those coordinates plot out to be practically on the border between Quang Tri Province and Thua Thien Province about 18 Km. south of the city of Quang Tri and about 17 Km. west of Camp Evans (see http://www.nexus.net/~911gfx/vietnam/maps/ne48-16/ne48_16c.html ). There were "collection points" for KIAs at the city of Quang Tri, Phu Bai, and Camp Evans as well as the Army Morturary at Da Nang Air Base (see http://www.qmmuseum.lee.army.mil/mortuary/MA-Vietnam.htm ). I haven't the faintest idea if the bodies from the crash were transported to a collection point first or to the Mortuary directly. The collection point at Camp Evans was operated by the 1002nd Supply and Services Company and would have been the closest to the crash site.
