Howdy C.A. Brown;

Would H&S Co., 2nd/1st Marines be the same as Hotel Co., 2nd/1st Marines? I'm not sure because I was Army. If they are the same go to http://www.hotel-marines.org/ click on anything and then click on "Taps". If H&S Co. and Hotel Co. are two different companies, then you will have to do it the hard way. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall has a completely seachable data base. Specify "Marine Corps" in the branch field and the month and year that you're interested in but leave everything else blank. That will result in a complete list of all Marine KIAs for that month, but without unit information. The other option is to download the Coffelt KIA database from the Virtual Wall which has excellent unit information on all 58,234 KIAs, but you need Microsoft Excel in order to read it. By using Excel, it is possible to eleminate all KIAs from the database who were not members of H&S Co., 2nd/1st Marines, but I've never used that feature because I usually have a name to start with.
