Subject: Thank You

I just wanted to say that bieng an 14 year old punk kid with high dreams of becoming an officer in the Marine Corp. (Been set on it for 3 years now, getting an Engineering degree,) I have read Every single story on this page. The funny ones, the sad ones, and the poetic ones. I couldnt imagine what it is like to have bullets pinging and slamming all around, or the fear that the next morter has got ur name on it. (infact the Closest thing to an actual War Experience was a 7 hour scenario paintball game based in WWII) The only thing I could do is try to change peoples minds at my school, that war Isn't pointless. That the men who have valiently (did I spell that right?) and couragously (haha. I cant spell) fought in battle, and lost there lives, as well as risked their lives was not a shamefull waiste. I also thank all of you whom have givin their lives to the service, and still allow the protester to burn the flag (from my favorite story, Freedom Isnt Free) I may seem like Im just glorified about war, which in some ways I am, but I try to be more. To spare your lives another five minutes of my rambling, Thank You all.
