I assume that you are referring to the 1st Battalion, 92nd Field Artillery Regiment. The homepage of the "Red Devils" of the "Brave Cannons" is at http://www.bravecannons.org/ . Unfortunately, they do not have a guestbook or bulletin board where you can leave a message, but there is a way to contact the officers of the association.

Isn't your brother-in-law, SP4 William Emmans, already a member of the association? That would be the best place to start to try and find a buddy of his. It would also help to know which battery he was in and what time period is appropriate since the 1st/92nd Arty was in Vietnam for about 5 years.
