If the peacock had been mating with that peahen before you
had to move her the eggs should be fertile for a while.
Egg yolks are fertilized while still attached to overy.
I have heard that a hen turkey needs only one mating for the
breeding season.
Several years ago I had to separate my green spaldings,
Neverland the Insane and Malpo due to peahen abuse.
After this Malpo laid three fertile eggs and one of these
turned into my beautiful white spalding, Everest.
Everest is not as violent as his father but unfortunately
he is NOT particualrly good at fertilizing eggs
