There are many ostrich plumes to be used and other animal hides and so on. Because peafowl feathers are but one item to be utilized we need to get a handle on how many people are serious about providing feathers. These will be feathers moulted this year and next year. I would also be interested in discussing with the feather producers how to insure that their birds produce the greatest yield plumage of superior quality. There are literally hundreds of extras carrying fans and wearing crowns in some scenes. The principles ( starring actors) will also be wearing plumed headpieces and these feathers must meet the strictest quality control. As soon as costuming gets back to us on number of specific pieces we can begin to map out an action plan. The amount of money paid per package of a specific number of feathers of a specific quality will be modest but nonethless contribute towards your feedbill. I hope someone out there takes this up as their personal project and puts together a cooperative. That cooperative can go out and actively find these plumes from people not directly connected to our production offices. We have so much going on we can't get bogged down with alot of non essential communication.
