hello.

first of all, any fan of the apartments (and pnw) can't be dumb.

i felt the same way about the apartments ever since i bought the first album not long after it was released. and i became,like you, obsessed with them. finally i got to meet him in 1992. he invited me down to the studio where he was recording 'drift'. the only thing better than the thought of there being a second album was the fact that he was so incredibly cool. i spent a couple hours telling him how much the first album meant to me -- quizzed him about the lyrics and the meanings behind them. i told him how grateful i was for that album- and how much it means to me.

he's a superior person. and you have excellent taste in both music and the choosing of obsessions.
