Subject: Brigadier General Coleman's Wife Has Passed Away

Hello to all. I received the following from Jerry Nelson and Pete Villarreal regarding the wife of one of our own:

Our beloved General, Dick Coleman, has lost his wife to cancer. Please pray for his family as they struggle through the grieving process. General Coleman sent us a short message:

"As many of you know my wife Maggie has been battling cancer for the past several months, Unfortunately she passed away last night with me and children at her bedside. I thank all of you who knew of her condition for your many phone calls of encouragement and concern."

Thank You,
Dick Coleman

Additional information will be posted when available. General Coleman was our Top Cop for many many years. He was our guest speaker at the 2000 reunion in San Antonio. He served an enlisted tour in Vietnam with the 1041st(T) and again as a Lieutenant during the evacuation of Saigon in 1975 when he was TDY from Clark AB with a task force to assist in the evacuation. He also brought the beret back to us when he was the Top Cop. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
