Subject: VA Claim

I just received approval of my latest VA Claim (Gleason 7 Prostate Cancer, requiring a Radical Prostatectomy) today. They gave me another 100% rating. Of course, there is no increase in compensation, even though my cumulative rating is 270% (I think that means I passed away, some time ago).

What is important is the speed, with which a claim can be processed, if done on-line, as a fully developed claim.

I did the Claim in late March, as a "Fully Developed Claim." My C&P Exam consisted of a phone call from a VA contracted Urologist (while I was driving to DC). She asked several questions and said she didn't even think she would have to do an in-person exam.

From my submission to VA approval, was less than 90 days. If you have your ducks in formation and can use the "Fully Developed Claim" process, go this route. It will speed up adjudication considerably.
