I'm glad that you have started the on-line reunion. It is such a fine tradition. All is well here in Tampa. We had about 225 registered plus some walk-ins. We had about 15 cancel due to concerns about making it home on the East Coast.

Tuesday night, several of us (about 22) went out to eat and were locked-in due to a suspicious vehicle located in the parking lot with wires showing. When the location was declared safe, one of the officers from Tampa PD came inside to say thanks and that all was safe to leave and enter the parking lot. He saw us with the VSPA patches and crossed pistol logos. He recognized them from a plaque that his Dad had from his time in the Air Force at Tan Son Nhut. We gave him a lot of information that he promised to pass-on to his Dad.

We had a great reception dinner Wednesday night. Great food and lots of brotherhood/sisterhood. Today was open for local travel and shopping. Some of us went to the beautiful beaches. Tonight is our traditional squadron/base evening for gathering with friends for dinner out on the town.

Hurricane Matthew will hit the East Coast hard. We have a Tropical Storm Watch for the Tampa area. Wind and rain are predicted later tonight and Friday. It rained lightly earlier this afternoon but it was the typical Florida tropical rain. More to follow in future updates.
