Interesting comments, think we all have asked the same questions had the same thoughts. Sam's comments on the headstones and Vietnam being on all, I didn't know, wonder, do all other headstones WWI, WWII,Korea or latest conflicts require same even if not in country? I guess there would be different opinions on that subject. The VA considers some associated diseases caused by A/O as combat related, that's the term used which makes a decided difference on disability payments being taxable, all you guys going thru prostate cancer should be considered 100% until your re-evaluated after treatment.Check and be sure your being classified properly and receiving the proper compensation. Jerry Nelson opened my eyes on the subject at one of our reunions 4 or 5 yrs ago. On our DC parade we met two Medal of Honor recipients, who had reviewed the parade, one had been wounded 5 times, no doubt in my mind I was shaking the hand of a combat Vet. I know one thing for sure, we didn't run off to Canada or burn our draft cards, always be proud, Hooah!!Bruce LM#174
