Ken, I don't know what the VSPA Facebook Group is but a member is a member and where one belongs, all belong. In Vietnam, I don't ever remember seriously discussing politics or religion with a guy on post with me. We talked about things we had in common. The only criticism was when someone was careless about where their rifle was pointed or how they handled a claymore. Some Christian religions are so different and opinionated that discussion is just as impossible as arguing the existence of God with non-Christian religions or with those who do not believe in any religion. The only thing that can create extreme emotions faster than discussing politics and religion is driving in rush hour traffic. Our service in Vietnam has brought more guys together than politics and religion have divided.
