Subject: Todays feelings

We have some great poets like Jackie, Terry, and Ol Cowboy Jack who say lots of things we all feel in our hearts and souls. This is exampled by the last two poems up on the BB.
Many of us return each night to a land far away and have done so for decades. Now a whole generation is going to have to learn where Vietnam is again like people did back in the 60's. Why is that well seems our friends in China want to control the South China Sea. Now we are opening up trade with Vietnam to counter this. I just don't know, maybe this should be on FF zone but I am kind of numb to it.
Us single war veterans, we are part of America that will stand up when duty calls, not run or hide. So how do we deal with this new situation mentally? Some of us have already went back to Nam in person to ease memories. Now some of our Grand kids may end up going to serve at some of our old bases? What do you say to a grand child who goes to CRB, take plenty of sun screen? I know we have to keep the sea lanes open so prices will stay low at Wal-Mart but how dose it make you feel? I heard a little blip that Obama is going to have a POW from WWII with him when he speaks in Japan, wonder how may apologize to him?
