Another Brother Passes Away---,
Malcolm McMillin my best friend from Viet Nam passed away around 3:00 am or so Central Standard Time this morning .My Pleiku Bothers Jim Gish & John Risse knew Malcolm very well also. I made a posting last April about Mac's Health after he suffered a stroke. He died this morning from complications from the stroke .Malcolm served multiple tours in Nam . Twice TDY out of Barksdale to Da Nang in 65', K-9 .I met him n October of 65' at Pleiku where he was K-9 originally but something( health issues, I think)happened to his dog and he finished his tour with the 633rd SPS .Malcolm was a great and loyal friend and one who I knew had my back.I will miss him greatly !! I plan to attend his funeral in Jackson Mississippi on Monday the 26th .Mac was in Law Enforcement the greater part of his adult life . After Viet Nam he was on the Jackson PD and then He was Hinds County Sheriff for many years before Retirement . He leaves his wife Delores , Children, Chris, Andrew and Molly and many Grandchildren .
