Subject: UPDATE ON PROSTATE CANCER

Thanks to all of you for your support and for checking on me during my radiation treatments. I have completed my required 40 radiation treatments. All is well after a total of 5400 miles of driving for the daily treatments. I have a followup visit with the doctor and his staff in April.

Big thanks to Roberta Smith for all of the cards and to Jack for his phone calls. To Jerry Nelson for calling several times each week to check on me. And a very special thanks to my Nha Trang buddy and next door neighbor, Larry Fleming, who drove me to several of my treatments.

For those of you who do not know, John Risse, just passed his halfway mark in his 40 radiation treatments. We have been in touch with each other throughout our treatments and that has been a very big help for both of us.

I send my best to all of you with the fond hope of seeing you in San Antonio. Our reunion plans are coming along. Hope to have something to release soon regarding hotel reservations and planned events. Remember the dates are October 4 - 8.
