Enlisted Jan 67 discharged Jan 71, Re enlisted Apr, 71 Retired May 87 Total time 20 years four days. During that time I served with a great many people. I have three AFSC's from cops, AP, SP and Law Enforcement. I also have two others from the fields I cross trained into. Equipment operator, and cable splicer. There are many times I have felt pride and proud to be an airman. Be it doing jobs not so glamorous as digging trenches for cable at Edwards AFB CA. But getting to watching such aircraft flying acceptance tests, like the A-10, F 15, F 16, YC 17 and black hawk chopper, being chased by a P 51 Mustang. Seeing the Space Shuttle Enterprise being towed into base. 20 years hard to pin down one thing. The best thing is hearing people say I should have stayed in. Also when you hear people grip about things in the world and how our military should intervene, you can always offer to assist them to the recruiting office. Larry
