I dont respond here much anymore but Reading this post and the responses makes me want to remember what a Marine VN Vet said after he drove the Moving Wall into My Hometown I was leading a motorcycle escort with last summer .

He reminded all of us that at one time over 6 million of us actually set foot on Vietnames soil and AT one time we argued about who did what there .He then continued to say now there are less than a million of us left now and we dont have enough left to argue with each other about that . That we all who served in conntry were Combat Veterans .

One bIt of information Id like to pass along as a member of two Honor Guard Units that do Military Rites for our fallen. With our new SW Virginia Veterans Cemetery in my backdoor I noticed that many of the veterans buried there have Vietnam on their tombstones .I wondered why and I asked the management there why.He responded that anybody who served During the Vietnam Era and was discharged under honorable conditions automatically had Vietnam on their govt issued tombstone wheaather he she served in country or not and if it was in a veterans cemetery or public cemetery its the law .
